About Lenore

Lenore Anderson, Medicine Weaver.

MA. Edu. MA. Consciousness Studies and Transpersonal Psychology.

My journey as healer, counselor, wilderness guide, bodyworker, herbalist, and shamanic journey practitioner has been a practice of inner weaving and lifelong learning. I received my name, Medicine Weaver, during my first Vision Quest in 1993. The word medicine involves the practice of utilizing remedies for healing. The greatest remedy that I can offer is the

return to Self, our inner wisdom and the healing power of nature.

I created Inner Weave Life Journeys as an integration of my skills and healing therapies to include: Holistic Health Consultations, Acupressure & Shiatsu, Meditation, Shamanic Journeywork, Coaching, Nature Quests and Retreats.

My work as a Wilderness Leader and Environmental Director with The Colorado Outward Bound School spanned from 1984-99. I was an instructor and a course director for the mountain and canyon courses. In 1996, I began facilitating my own wilderness retreats and nature quests in New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Vermont, and Massachusetts.

In 1996 I completed a two-year apprenticeship in the Journey to Wholeness, Spiritual Shamanic Journey Process through The Center for Spiritual Shamanic Exploration in Boulder, Colorado. The teachings were rooted in the Native American Lakota spiritual traditions. Since that time I have woven and integrated experiential healing therapies that empower my clients to engage and embrace their inner awareness and wisdom to develop the practices and skills they need for lifelong health and vitality.

In 1996 I graduated from The Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies, in Boulder, Colorado in Clinical Herbalism. Over the years I have had the pleasure of studying and completing several certification courses with master herbalists in the United States, including Christopher Hobbs, Michael and Leslie Tierra, Mathew Wood, Susan Weed and Rosemary Gladstar.

I am a certified raw food chef and instructor through The Living Light Culinary Art Institute, in California and Rawbert’s Organic Café, in Boston, MA. Theses trainings and the work of Dr. Robert O. Young, on alkalizing the body have inspired my Inner Weave Cleansing Program.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist I specialize in Chinese Five Element Acupressure and Shiatsu. I integrate the Inner Weave Life Journey process in a bodywork session to address the healing of the spirit and the mind, which is often where a root cause is affecting the body with symptoms and dis-ease. Clearing old patterns and clearing blocks to restore balance brings about wellness to the whole person.

I recently completed training and certification as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher through The Engaged Mindfulness Institute, MA. I teach people of all ages the practice of mindfulness meditation to learn how to be more introspective and living in the present moment.

Beyond my lifetime of trainings, certifications, and licenses, I offer my deepest wisdom that I have cultivated to support my clients, family and friends. I am grateful for who I am as an open minded and compassionate woman, mother, educator, healer, and guide.
